The purpose of
this document is to provide consistent direction, information and guidelines
regarding the Texas W Club. It is intended to inform and educate both potential
and existing members as to what the
One should be
familiar with WIT by-laws and the Texas W Club by-laws to better understand the
information contained within this document. The WIT by-laws and Texas W by-laws
will take precedence over any information presented in this document.
The Texas W Club is the only
WIT Club in the state of
Texas W membership requirements are simple: 1. Be a member in good standing of WIT. 2. Own and arrive at an Event in a Winnebago Industries product. 3T. Be current with Texas W Club dues.
Texas W annual dues, per coach, are as approved by the Club membership and are due October first. Members not paid by the January Meeting will be deleted from the membership list.
You are expected to supply
your WIT number and expiration date when paying dues. Annual dues will not be
prorated.
Annual Texas W Club Events
consist of 3 Meetings and a Rally. The Meetings are typically held in January,
April, and July. The July Meeting is held at the Grand National Rally (GNR) in
Note: Gatherings, either a Meeting or Rally must be
self-supporting. The cost of the Event must be offset by the fee charged or in
the case of a Rally, by the fee and contributions. You might also have
contributions from dealers for a Meeting, but you do not solicit contributions
for a Meeting.
Parking together requires
that participants arrive together. Upon arrival, parkers will greet each RV,
hand out information, and answer questions.
If handicap parking is
requested, the official
Participants are asked to
wear a name badge at all times.
At check-in, each coach will
receive a goody bag and a program listing the times of the activities.
Pre-registration is
encouraged.
All registration fees will
be refunded, if a registrant cancels prior to arrival at the Event.
Event registration fees are
for the complete event and will not be prorated or refunded for late arrival or
early departure.
Meetings or Rally always
start on Friday after the opening ceremonies and conclude on Sunday, typically,
with a non-denominational devotional.
Activities prior to Friday’s
opening ceremony, are not a part of the formal Event and are considered
pre-Event activities.

When requested, at the
Business Meeting, the Chapter President or representative of each Chapter will
stand and state the number of coaches in their Chapter and the number of member
coaches on the grounds.
A member from the
Unaffiliated Participants may represent the unaffiliated group and give
the same information as the Chapter Presidents. Unaffiliated members are
members who own and arrive in a Winnebago Industry product, but are not members
of a Chapter.
The Texas W Board is made up
of the elected and appointed officers of the Texas W Club.
The Texas W Executive Board
includes all Chapter Presidents and may include a representative from the
Unaffiliated Members Group. Others may attend and observe the board meeting,
but only the Chapter President or their representative may vote or participate
in the discussion unless asked to speak.
