From Our Chaplain

Dear Father,
We
ask that You be with us on our travels. We have many chances
to meet new friends on our trips. That means we have many
chances for others to see You through us. Help us to carry
your message to those who haven't heard it yet. In so doing,
we will be serving You.
In this new
year, help us to remember that we will be faced with trials and
tribulations, but that You have promised to be with us. We
know that each battle we face will strengthen our faith as long as we
walk as Jesus walked.
Help
us to leave the anger and frustrations of last year behind, so that
they don't mess up our present. Let us be joyful for each day
you give us in Your world.
In Jesus's name we pray
Amen

Thoughts from our travels
Each
morning, I wake up with thanks in my heart that God is allowing me to
enjoy another day in His world. My wife Nancy and I have just
returned from a 5 week jaunt that included sharing time with our WIT
friends in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) Mexico, and several weeks in
the San Diego area. Motorhomers, especially, have the
opportunities to experience the wonders of this great land.
Along with the beauties of nature, the chance to spend extended time
with friends and family is another major benefit of a motorhomer's life.
God
knows each of us needs interaction with His world and His people to
replenish our souls, but I think it important to emphasize that each of
us can help replenish others' souls also. Be a source of
positive light to those around you during your travels. Let
them know you care.
